We are Just Ride the Bike.
We are plain speakers and on any of our bike rides we will discuss all sorts of things from the education system and our families to healthcare, obesity and encouraging more people to ride bikes. We talk bikes, we talk kit and we talk racing and we argue - but in a constructive friendly manner. Take a look at our views and opinions. You’ll gain an insight into what we are like to be around and work with!
We are passionate about helping more people to ride bikes more often. To do this we need to tell people about infrastructure developments; councils need to know how cycling paths are being used; we need to show people great kit; we need to gather facts and figures that will convince others to ride.
Who we are

Andrew Brown - co-founder Just Ride the Bike Ltd
Andrew is a co-founder and director of JRtB and a director of Frank & Brown. He has over 25-years experience in PR, communications and journalism primarily in the built environment. He has direct experience working with infrastructure providers and materials manufacturers as well as the urban environment, workplace and design consultants. He has devised, produced and presented at a range of events within the built environment market as well as editing magazines, and writing widely for clients and on his own merit about a range of issues affecting how we live, work and play. He is a nonexecutive director of Constructing Excellence Wales.
His passion is writing and the outdoors, especially walking and cycling - albeit he loves nothing better than a spin out to a cafe for a chat about cycling.

Dr David Land – co-founder Just Ride the Bike Ltd
Dave is co-founder and director of JRtB, director of Causeway Intelligence and a certified member of the Market Research Society. Dave operates at the interface between specialist, technical knowledge and practical dissemination. He is seen as a ‘translator’ between two sides that are easily separated through language rather than competence. He has guided MPs, Lords, county councillors, charity chief executives and vice chancellors, as well as other C-suite professionals to making better decisions. He has published across academia, business writing and public sector consulting. He is founder and organiser of one of the South West’s largest one-day cycling events and is currently working with county councillors to develop and implement a county-wide cycling strategy.
Dave struggles to choose between his road bike (which he commutes on), his gravel bike and his MTB.
Neil Webster – owner, founder Cyclo Consulting and consultant to Just Ride the Bike
Neil is the founder of Cyclo Consulting and a Director at Remit. He brings direct experience from the interface of business and cycling participation. He has a wealth of contacts in the business community, an in-depth appreciation of the impact and benefit of cycling in UK cities and is an advocate of active travel. He has authored two BCO’s report’s about cycling: Cycling & The Modern Workplace in 2012, and The Market Cycles in 2017. As well as road shows for the BCO he has spoken at Future Cities Catapult (Healthy Cities), Hackney Cycling Conference and London’s Active travel Summit. He is a trustee of the London Cycling Campaign and an active member of the All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group.
Neil is currently curating an event on mental health and cycling for the charity Club Peloton.
